Out of the Sandbox has released several key updates to its premium Shopify themes.
- All themes now include support for Shopify's new dynamic checkout buttons feature (more on that to come in a future blog post)
- All themes now include both a newsletter and map section that can be used on the homepage and, in the case of the map, the page.details template as well
- In addition, the map sections now feature the ability to select from five color schemes as well as adding a block of text — ideal for store address, hours and other information
- The announcement bar feature now includes more convenient access to color settings

- The “Featured products” section is now called “Featured product” and no longer uses blocks

Retina update
Out of the Sandbox’s Retina Shopify theme has also gotten a release that adds key new features:
- The Amsterdam theme style has been updated with a fresh new look to inspire you
- New options for buttons: Choose between beveled, rounded or squared
- New option to add a top banner on blog pages
- The FAQ page template is now available
- New hover animations and text options for featured promotions
- Updated settings for homepage image with text section to match page.details block
- Addition of a divider section for additional layout options on homepage
- Additional updates and bug fixes to improve performance and design throughout the theme
